Duet is an intensely distilled expression of a narrative told in material itself.
Through their intimate functionality, the pair of objects invite us to contemplate the complexity of our relationship with environmental crisis in our everyday.
The permanence of the artist's hand in fired ceramic stands alongside the ephemeral, linguistic and physical potential to wash of and with this material in soap: soften its edges between your palms and leave the traces of your hand in mine.
Duet has been nominated for the Ingram Prize in 2025, invited be part of discussions at the UN convention on human rights and exhibited at the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Imperial College London 2026.
