Freddie Crossley (b.1993) is an interdisciplinary artist working in the expanded field of ceramics. In his making, material and craft become a catalyst for reimagining our relationship to the world around us.
Freddie is an alumnus of the Royal College of Art and the University of Cambridge. He was a Märit Rausing Scholar in 2024, a finalist for the Ingram Prize in 2025 and Anglo-Swedish Scholar at Konstfack, Stockholm 2026.
Epic in the domestic, his work explores the narratives we live with in our to day to day through familiarity of substance and form. As such, with intimacy, lyricism and tenderness, his works operate not only as objects of attention, but instruments of consciousnes; tools for moving through and imagining a world beyond crisis.
