Freddie Crossley (b.1993) is an interdisciplinary artist working in the expanded field of ceramics. In his making, material and craft become a catalyst for reimagining our relationship to the world around us.

Freddie is an alumnus of the Royal College of Art and the University of Cambridge. He was a Märit Rausing Scholar in 2024, a finalist for the Ingram Prize in 2025 and Anglo-Swedish Scholar at Konstfack, Stockholm 2026.

Examining the narratives we live with in our intimate to day to day, his work explores the epic in the domestic, where processing, working and listening with material becomes a mode of processing thought and idea.

Here felt experience is philosophical, and his artworks become tools for moving through and imagining a world beyond crisis. Between the things we live with and the things we will never see again, these instruments of consciousness are vital, tender and lyrical.
