Freddie Crossley (b.1993) is an interdisciplinary artist working in the expanded field of ceramics. His work explores the epic in the domestic, how we live with loss and global crisis between our bodies, in the intimacy of our homes.
Freddie is an alumnus of the Royal College of Art and the University of Cambridge. He was awarded the Märit Rausing Scholarship in 2024, a finalist for the Ingram Prize in 2025 and Anglo-Swedish Scholar at Konstfack, Stockholm 2026.
In his making, material and craft become a catalyst for reimagining our relationship to the world around us. In his work theory is felt and concept is material.
Quietly, subtly, between the things we live with and the things we will never see again, it is vital, intimate and lyrical.
